Who could imagine that less than half an hour drive from Takaka you could be losing yourself in this wonderful beech forest - a real wilderness! From Takaka you head to Clifton and then wind your way up Bird Road to 600m above sea level, beyond the farm land to where the gated driveway offers easy access to the centre of this 34 hectare bush block.
Appraising the property from the road is merely skimming the surface, it's approx 1km deep and even after 20 years my vendor says there's much of the land he hasn't seen.
