“Pink for a day – Golden Bay”
Every year, 3,300 Kiwis are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 650 will die. The money raised will help fund groundbreaking work by some of our countries top breast cancer researchers, educate people about breast health, and provide free support services for breast cancer patients and their families.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and each year, Ray White Golden Bay holds a stall in Takaka to raise funds for the Pink Ribbon Street Appeal. The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF) is an important non-profit charitable trust that Billy has supported wholeheartedly since losing a close friend to the disease many years ago. This year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are unable to hold our stall for the annual street appeal, so we are switching it up a bit!
We are going “PINK”, and we would love you to join us on 29th of October 2021, to show your support by dressing up in Pink, help us raise funds and breast health awareness for the Annual Appeal. On the day Billy and the team at Ray White Golden Bay will be dressing all in pink and we are offering a super special prize for the ‘Best Workplace Team” on the day! Send your photo entries to our Facebook or Instagram pages and don’t forget to tag us @raywhitegoldenbay and @pinkribbonnz. You can donate NZBCF online or pop into our Takaka office to grab some Pink Ribbon Merchandise or drop a cash donation. The winner will be announced at 4pm on Friday 29th of October winning a pink hamper filled to the brim with pink goodies. This year food brands have supported this cause by going pink and donating a percentage to the BCF.”
Donate today to help make zero deaths from breast cancer a reality.
